Membership Information

What do I get?

Members get free entry into all society screenings, around 30 per year, which works out to less than $4 per film! Even if you only come to TEN of our THIRTY films, you'll still be paying less than the price of a normal ticket to the cinema. But there's more!

Rates:

Twelve-month membership: $100, or $90 concession rate for students, seniors, and beneficiaries

3-film sampler: $25 - gets you admission to three films of your choice, but none of the added benefits

Returning members get a 10% discount off a full membership when presenting their old member card


How do I join?

Just fill out and post the membership form and a cheque or turn up early to one of our screenings and approach our table in the foyer to join on the spot (cash or cheque only, sorry).

Now you can also join online by direct deposit

If you wish to pay by direct deposit, e-mail a blank message to join @ canterburyfilmsociety.org.nz and we will reply promptly with bank account information and instructions. As soon as your deposit clears, we will process the membership and post your card to you or have it ready for you to pick up.
